Bwana Jim Safaris is an American-owned facility located in the beautiful Limpopo Province of South Africa. Bwana Jim Safaris is owned by Jim Ake of Maryland in the United States and is managed by Johan Verstor P.H.   Jim has hunted in South Africa, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Tanzania, Botswana, and Cameroon over the past 30 years. Jim has taken everything from the Mini-Five to the Big Five including over 30 SCI gold medals and 20 SCI silver medal animals, including the number 10 Tsessibe and number 11 Vaal Reebok.
